English is not my mother tongue. But there’s something fascinating about learning a second language: I get to choose what to take in.
When you communicate in a language, you begin to think in it. It still amazes me how differently my brain works when I switch between languages.
Sometimes I’m required to use English to write something. Sometimes I just have the need to use it. And sometimes I force myself. I post them all. Every writing. I feel like I’m leaving traces of a living mind on the internet.
I want to be connected.

Yes, I do speak Mandarin. There’s no specific reason – but I do feel like being able to speak three languages fluently is such a flex, haha. Writing blogs in Mandarin is my way of keeping myself from forgetting it. I’m learning French also. Just hope that I won’t go mad haha.
