This page showcases some of my projects, both individual and collaborative, along with my experiences and the valuable lessons I’ve gained throughout my growth journey.As a dynamic, confident and outgoing youth, I am comfortable communicating and presenting before an audience. I am willing to face challenges and learn to grow.

Projects

1) Digital Marketing Strategy

Results: 10% growth in followers and significant viewer engagement across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

Skills: Canva, Capcut, Microsoft Office Suite, Social media content creation

Description: Serving as the Marketing & Media Chair at the UAlberta Rotaract club (part of Rotary International NGO), I led the club’s Instagram and TikTok strategy by producing weekly content, leveraging trends, and promoting events to increase engagement and followers.

This video promotes one of our campaigns to raise awareness about plastic pollution in the ocean and were made in 2024.

All animations, editing and filming were done by me.

I also contributed 300+ hours of community service over three years, supporting fundraising initiatives and collaborating with community organizations to raise awareness of critical humanitarian, health, and environmental issues. Details were listed in my “Volunteer works” section.

2) 2024 Branding Marketing Case Competition

Skills: The strategy proposed included prestige pricing, entry into e-commerce platforms, and the use of local social media influencers to strengthen brand awareness and perceived value.

Description: Participated in a branding and marketing case competition focused on Antigal, a wine company seeking to expand into the Chinese youth market. Our team proposed a packaging redesign incorporating traditional Chinese cultural aesthetics with a luxury brand positioning to better align with young consumers’ preferences.

This project combines original hand-drawn work with reference images traced from publicly available sources.

– While some base forms were traced for structure, all concepts, composition, and final designs are my own and were drawn by me.

3) SDGs Awareness Poster Design – Runner Up Award of 1500 CAD

Description: Conceptualized and designed an interactive poster addressing misconceptions about the Deaf community and redefining music as a universal, multi-sensory language. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goal: Good Health and Well-Being, the project aimed to raise awareness and foster empathy through hands-on engagement rather than sound.

Skills: Able to analyise a(n) issue/ topic, generate ideas to address the problem, and use relevant knowledge and soft skills to tangible result.

– This is an individual project. All the ideas, drawing and presentation were done by me in 2023

Award: The only runner up, 1500 CAD award

The poster featured pressable piano tiles (using wooden clothes pegs), strings, and layered materials that invited viewers to explore questions and uncover stories about Deaf culture by touch, allowing them to “compose” a silent piece of music. This tactile experience symbolized how connection and empathy, rather than sound, create meaningful communication.

4) Consent Carnival in 2023-2026

Description: I contributed to the marketing for the Consent Carnival project, leading social media postings, poster design, and event photography. Through this work, I helped raise awareness about bodily autonomy, the importance of consent, and empowering individuals to understand and respect personal boundaries.

Skills: Cross-functional team work and media promotion.

Volunteer

From a youth who fascinated in volunteering, I later serve several roles as leaders and youth representatives, from school-club-wide, to city-wide and provincial-wide.


Rotary NGOs career path: General member to Media Officer, to Marketing and Media Chair, to District Rotaract Representative/ Community Chair.

Description: Representing the voices of hundreds of youth across Alberta and British Columbia, I advocate for young leaders, facilitate communication between clubs and district leadership, and help create inclusive spaces where youth can grow, lead, and contribute to meaningful community change.

Skills: Leadership, presentations and speech giving, effective communication and hosting meetings.

Work experiences

Product Development Assistant Intern – Generali Vietnam Life Insurance Co.

Description: Assisted cross-functional teams by preparing internal communications, analyzing data in Excel, and developing reports and presentations. Helped translate data insights into clear, structured materials to support decision-making and team coordination.

Skills: Experienced in the insurance field, deeper understanding about the business work culture, practiced using Microsoft and Google Workspace for professional communication and tasks handling.

Server and Host – Jinya Ramen Bar

Developed soft skills and mindset. Practiced patient. Delivered professional customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently. Demonstrated adaptability, teamwork, and strong communication skills in daily operations.

Cashier and Baker – Cookies by George

Balanced customer service and food preparation responsibilities in a high-traffic setting. Handled transactions accurately, prepared baked goods to company standards, and contributed to a positive customer experience through teamwork and attention to detail.
